C-Bar-C Park at 8275 Oak Avenue, Citrus Heights, California.

My dog was attacked at this dog park by a man and his dog. Another dog attacked my dog and the owner pulled out a gun and threatened to shoot my dog. All of this occurred while his dog was biting mine and right in front of my 3 and 7 year old daughter. The owner hit my dog on his head multiple times with his gun. Once his dog finally let go of my dogs head he discovered that his dog had no bites. The police were called but come to find out no charges were brought and animal control did not even send me the paperwork to file a citizens arrest because the man claimed he feared for his life even though his dog wasn't even bit. I don't understand why this dog park has such good reviews because since this had occurred i have talked to a lot of people who have reported to me that dogs frequently get attacked at this dog park. Do not bring your dogs here. It's horrible how people can get away with such animal cruelty .I even have vet records proving what occurred but the citrus heights police will not do anything and although I am provided a lawyer through my job he is scared to take this case due to the man having a gun. Avoid all the trauma that me and my children have had to experience and just don't bring your dogs to this dog park.
